Este trabajo artístico, lo creamos y elaboramos para participar en un evento pequeño, que se realiza anualmente en Blanes, en septiembre, donde un colectivo de artistas y dj's, durante un fin de semana organiza sesiones dj, en diferentes espacios de la población. El motivo central de este "mini festival pop", es la música y el arte. Cada año, hay un tema referente, el nombre de una ciudad, de una capital, de un pais, donde la música y el arte crearon historia. El año 2012, se homenajeaba a Estados Unidos, Nueva York, Chicago, Sant Francisco, los años 80, y a los artistas en general, de esa época. Nosotros hicímos esta humilde aportación, 480 dibujos, editados en formato video. Donde repasamos la iconografía, eventos e iconos de la cultura americana, desde una versión, "pop".
This artwork, we create and elaborate to participate in a small event, held annually in Blanes, in September, where a group of artists and DJs, during a weekend dj sessions organized in different areas of the population. The central motif of this "mini pop festival", is music and art. Every year, there is an issue regarding the name of a city, a capital of a country, where music and art created history. In 2012, it paid tribute to the United States, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, the 80s, and artists in general, at that time. We made this humble contribution, 480 drawings, published in video format. Where we review the iconography, events and icons of American culture, from a release, "pop".
